Electrifying Kitchen Island

Kitchen islands come in a variety of designs to enhance the beauty and functionality of a kitchen. The island is often the most heavily used workspace in the kitchen and convenience commands the ability to use small appliances on the island. Building codes also require kitchen islands to have at least one receptacle servicing the kitchen island.

One kitchen remodel near Wilkes Barre posed a challenge to meet the multiple requirements of NEC electrical code while maintaining the aesthetics of this island design. A traditional duplex outlet was not an acceptable selection, for this installation.

The receptacles we used were smaller and less obtrusive than a traditional receptacle. Additionally, the covers can be painted or faux finished to further disguise its presence.

We strive to be the best contractor in the Scranton area, provide clients the highest quality components, and to exceed all customer expectations. We are craftsmen and we take the utmost pride in our work.
